Buffy Reunion →
New Joss Whedon movie based on Much Ado About Nothing (Shakespeare) reuniting much of the Buffy cast. I’m just sad Anthony Head was unavailable. This is potentially going to be epic!

Why, all of sudden (okay, so, maybe it has been a gradual shift from “OMG, PLUTO IS NOT A PLANET” to “Pluto was a planet when I was your age…”), is everyone jumping on this goddamn Pluto bandwagon? What did Pluto ever do for you that the “loss” of its title as a planet (more like a clarification to dwarf planet) has caused you to root for Pluto and...

KONY 2012: Do Your Research
So I saw this video on Youtube when it was still at a measly 50000 views. I was impressed by how rapidly word hit every social networking site imaginable, but I took it with a grain of salt and did my research. I’m not saying what Invisible Children Inc. is doing is bad; I’m just saying it’s mis-directed and perhaps a little presumptuous. We can do better. Read some great stuff...

Fifty Shades of Grey Controversy →
Bahahaha, some 17 year old girl came in for this book because her grandma told her it was great, so I had to do some research for myself.
This is actually hilarious because it’s based on TWILIGHT FANFICTION E.L. James had originally written in this style (as Icy).

Bookstore Memo #4
Try to look around just a little before you approach me and ask for “The Hunger Games”. You only passed by an entire front-of-the-store wheelie, a box set pyramid and two tables that feature all three books. So when I point at all the obvious locations do not blame me because you are embarrassed.

Bookstore Memo #3
When I approach you and let you know about our ongoing sales, there is no need to tell me you “know how to read”. I have already assumed that you know how to read if you are in a book store.
You would be surprised how many people miss the red, three foot sign that says “BUY THREE GET THE FOURTH FREE”, especially when they have tunnel-vision.

J.K. Rowling Will Be BAHCK →
“The time has come,” the literary said, “To talk of many a thing: Of books-and words-and authors back— Of new stories-and boys who are living— And why Rowling took so long— Or whether she’s back in full swing.” (Bookphilia may have mistakenly muddled “The Walrus and the Carpenter” from memory.)
