Billy Talent Twins

Sister: I haven't heard a Billy Talent song in ages.
Me: I only like a few of their songs, even though they all sound the same.
Sister: I liked "Nothing to Lose".
Me: I liked the one in the garage.
Sister: Yeah. I just said I liked that one. It's called "Nothing to Lose".
Me: I also liked that one about the suicidal kid.
Sister: *pause* That is the same song. "Nothing to Lose."
Me: I like that one shot at that high school or whatever.
Sister: *annoyed pause* That's still "Nothing to Lose".
*both of us burst into laughter*

I must have rubbed my eye makeup off onto my hands, but didn’t notice until I touched my new tattoo and freaked out thinking it was leaking all over my fingers.

Anyway, it says “friend” in Elvish (mellon). As in “speak friend and enter”, and yes someone has already made that joke.

After brushing my windshield and making my way to the back of the car, eliminating all traces of snow, I make my way back to the front only to find the windshield covered in snow again. FML.

I have only ever READ this word because, let’s be honest, who would us this aloud in a sentence? Anyway, I only just discovered it’s pronunciation. I still think it sounds wrong the correct way. I prefer my simplistic ah-gape versus ah-GAH-pay. What the hell, right? * *I found that apparently this odd bird of a word has two uses, which makes more sense in that I’ve only ever read it used the other way. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/agape

That awkward moment when you read something aloud and completely mispronounce it, even though it’s a really simple word.

Like reading “fades” as “fadies”, as in, rhymes with “hades”.

I’m not actually, usually, this dumb.
