Exercises While Reading

I get really antsy when I’m reading and really need to finish, but I also need to move around and get exercise. These are also good for people who are studying for school and don’t have enough time to go to the gym (or do not have a machine at home).

  • Leg Lifts (lying on your side; or the lying on your back versions; also while sitting)
  • Squats (this is my favourite)
  • Plank Hover
  • Smaller Weights (barbells; just switch sides every 10 reps or such)
  • Walking (30 + minutes, good pace)
  • Steps (walk up and down a set of stairs) 

Stretches are a lot easier to do while reading. :)
