Excelsior, fellow book lovers!
Sometimes I wonder why my books haven't asked for my parents' blessings yet.
You don't need to know who I am. Only that I like things. Like books. I am also a bookseller, which is why my hands are so dry to the point of them peeling off like snake-skin.
This blog is meant to be as ridiculous and funny as it is serious. I love books, reviewing them, discussing them, and analyzing them, but I'm also a fan of awesome things that make me laugh.
This does not include cheesy romantic comedies or lemon-flavoured candies. These are neither laugh-worthy (usually) or awesomely yummy (ick).
I just noticed that I’m picky about the shape of things I eat. I didn’t realize it until I looked at a square dice of potato and the round one…I went for the round ones. I actually even prefer round ice…spheres(?), rather than cubes. Apples are my favourite fruit. Even bread! I used to make tubby toast, just so it could be round. Smile fries. I like those round cough drops, not Halls. Button-shaped mushrooms are my favourite. :D
I think my preference for circular-like things extends beyond food though. Hobbit holes. I love them. I love when owls looks round and fluffy! :3 I also wish my car was an orb. And keyboard keys should be rounded to fit my fingertips. I’d rather sit on a round seat/stool, rather than something square. I’m sure there’s more…
Exceptions to my round rule: Spoons-I hate them. I do like sporks, however. Also, Tomatoes can suck it. No round beds. D: They don’t fit in rooms properly or they have to stay in the same spot forever. Books—I don’t think I could handle holding a round book.
The mall Santa’s change room is located in our back hall area and too far from the public restroom, so to avoid going out in costume and getting mauled by children, we’re letting him use our wash room in the back room. We are hoping this entails many free candy canes and are, apparently, guaranteed a free photo (so taking him up on that) without waiting in line, as well as a place on the “nice list”. Yay. :’D
